| On January 22, 1996, as a free agent playing in Europe, signed a contract with the Vancouver Canucks for the remaining 30 games of the season for $400,000 plus bonuses of $25,000 if the team made the playoff; $10,000 if the team won the first round and he played at least 50% of the games; $15,000 for each additional round won if he played at least 50% of the games; and $10,000 if he scored 8 or more goals during the season. He had to clear waivers to stay with Vancouver but Edmonton picked him up. Before suiting up for Edmonton, he renegotiate the bonuses for: $25,000 if he finished the season with a positive +/-; $100,000 for making the playoffs; $100,000 per playoff round won. He played 15 games for Edmonton and was put on the waiver and picked by St.Louis where he played 17 regular season games and the playoffs. He earned bonuses of $25,000 for making the playoffs and $100,000 for winning the first round. The following season, he played in Europe and then retired from pro-hockey. | |||
