Affiliate of Avangard Omsk goes to Sweden
for Christmas tournament

As usual, during the December break in many European Hockey Championships nearly all the teams who delegated their players to the national teams start looking for good opponents to stay in shape. The affiliate of Avangard Omsk of the Superleague Avangard VDV has been invited to visit Sweden for the Christmas McDonalds Cup tournament which will be held on December 27-30, 2000. The organizers recommend not to miss the event because Avangard will bring to Hernesand the leaders of the Russian under-18 team who has demonstrated tremendous play at the recent tournament held in Salt Lake City. Keep your eyes wide open on Alexander Perezhogin, Alexander Golovin and Andrei Taratukhin!
