SKA
St. Petersburg goes to the North America
On
December 8, 2000, during the break in the Russian Hockey Championships,
the players of SKA St. Petersburg started their trip to North America. The
club has been invited by the West Coast Hockey Association (WCHA) where
SKA will play five games with the local student clubs. The teams of
Minnesota, Wisconsin, St. Claude and Mancato Universitieswill rival SKA St. Petersburg. The Russians will also compete with
Junior Team USA. On Sunday, December 17, the Russians will attend the
Minnesota-Dallas game.
