Russian Clubs at Rest!

It looks like the United Arab Emirates became the place where Russian hockey players prefer to spend their vacation or just to have a rest during the break in the championships.

Six clubs of the Superleague left for United Arab Emirates during the December break of the Baltic Cup. Among them are the leaders of Russian hockey Metallurg Magnitogorsk, AkBars Kazan etc…

At the end of December, on Christmas and New Year’s eve, many teams left for Switzerland, Finland, Germany and France to take part in international club tournaments to keep the players in shape and to enjoy a New Year’s atmosphere. Team Metallurg Novokuznetsk left for Canada where it played some minor league teams.
