Chris Coveny Injured

On Friday, November 26, Chris Coveny, the Canadian defenseman from the Avangard Omsk team was severely injured. He hardly stepped onto the ice for his warm-up before the game when by accident he suddenly ran into his teammate Dimitri Ryabykin. Kris Coveny bumped his head into the boards and was then kicked on it by one of Dimitri’s skates. He was immediately transported to the hospital (emergency room). He already feels better and his health and condition are improving.
