Moscow Hockey Championships
Group One
Results of the 1st stage
The
Moscow Hockey Championships is the tournament in which take part the best
Moscow and near Moscow teams and it is considered one of the strongest
tournaments among the the juniors and kids of different age groups. It’s
the competition where many hockey experts have witnessed undoubted talent
of the current Atlanta’s rising star Ilya Kovalchuk. In the 1998/99
season he has scored 70 goals with his team Spartak Moscow made of the
1983 birthdates.
This
2001/02 season gives birth to the new stars of Russian hockey already
after the finish of its first stage. Dubinin Anton and Voloshenko Roman,
Glukhov Alexey and Savelyjev Dmitry, Kozhevnikov A. and Kornejev K. Look
out for them in the final second stage of the Moscow Hockey Championships!
Keep
an eye on the rising star Vasyunov Alexander of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl! He
has already repeated his achievement of the 1999/2000 season when he
scored 52 goals. The season is not yet over but he has already scored his
52 goals and overpassed his personal record of 68 points (52+16). 70
points is not bad for a 14 years of age kid after the the first half of
01/02 season!
