Recalling life in the penalty box, the former goon who amassed 2294 penalty minutes during
his 9 years in the NHL (Philadelphia, LA, Pittsburgh and Buffalo) explains:"Looking back, for all the time I spent in the box, it
would have been nice if they had padded seats. Some penalty boxes were better than others.
Some even served Coke instead of just water. Or maybe they had towels there for you."
