Talking about the tradition of throwing salmon on the ice in Portland:"I remember playing junior in Seattle and I almost got hit by a salmon. I
don't know if it had to do with my style of play or what. It landed about 2 feet from my
crease and splattered. I had fish guts on my pads for the next couple of days. Other than
that, I've been pretty fortunate."
